re:Designed

for humans

What shapes behavior
isn’t always visible.

The environments we’re in. The systems we work within. The expectations we’ve learned to carry.

They influence how we act, relate, and lead.

re:Designed brings organizational psychology, behavioral design, and coaching to the work of understanding those influences and deciding what to change.

LOOK AGAIN

Before asking people to change, look at what is shaping them.

Environment. Systems. Leadership. Norms. Relationships. Language. Friction. Reinforcement.

Together, they create an ecosystem that constantly shapes our behavior, quietly answering questions for the people within it: What matters here? Who matters? Why do we do this work? What is safe, expected, or rewarded?

People learn those answers through their everyday experience. An onboarding program, perks, or a carefully written mission statement can only go so far when the experience tells a different story.

Culture begins to take shape in decisions about space, business operations, and how work is organized. Those decisions shape the connections people make, how they interact, and what becomes possible. Over time, those patterns become difficult for even the strongest change initiatives to overcome.

Sometimes we’re reinforcing the very behavior we want to change.

Looking closely gives us somewhere useful to begin.

ORGANIZATIONS

CONDITION : BEHAVIOR

Design the conditions for the behavior you want to see

You want people to take ownership, but you build six layers of approvals. You ask teams to collaborate, but their priorities compete. A process looks clear on paper and creates confusion in practice.

We work with you to understand what happens in everyday work and what contributes to it.

That means looking at the physical space, workflows, decision rights, leadership practices, relationships, and unwritten rules people work within.

Together, we identify changes that make the behavior you need easier to put into practice.

Tell me the behavior you need.

We’ll examine what makes it easier or harder.

Through observation, conversations, and a review of how work happens, we trace the pattern, develop practical changes, and establish how to assess their effect.

LEADERSHIP

Who have you learned to be when you lead?

Long before we become leaders, we learn how to earn approval, establish credibility, stay in control, and protect ourselves.

We carry those lessons into leadership. Over time, they can become so familiar that we stop recognizing them as learned behaviors. They simply feel like who we are.

This coaching journey creates space to examine those layers.

The need to have the answer. The instinct to step in. The appearance of certainty. The version of ourselves we believe others need to see.

Through focused coaching, guided reflection, and shared experiences, we uncover the assumptions, habits, and identities shaping how we lead. Seeing those patterns gives us more choice in the moments that matter: how we respond under pressure, handle conflict, and create the conditions for others to contribute, challenge, and grow.

An individual or shared experience.

In individual coaching, we work with the experiences, relationships, and questions shaping your leadership.

In a group, that exploration becomes shared work. You see yourself through others, practice speaking honestly, and learn to challenge and support one another.

We build trust through how we listen, challenge, and follow through. We protect what’s shared and address difficult moments directly, so people can speak honestly, question the identities they’ve built around leadership, and examine the impact they’re having. With support and accountability, they practice leading differently in the relationships where it matters.

The journey takes shape through what you bring into it. You practice in real relationships, then return to reflect on what happened. What you discover becomes part of how you handle pressure, build trust, and make room for others to contribute.

Who are you trying to look like when you lead?

What version of you does your team experience?

What would become easier if you had nothing to prove?

SPEAKING

What is your organization teaching people to do every day?

Every operational decision is also a human-design decision.

How we arrange a space, assign responsibility, respond to mistakes, and make decisions teaches people something about how to work.

Jessica Montenegro brings these relationships into focus through questions, reflection, and experiences that invite audiences to examine their own assumptions.

ABOUT

I start with what’s happening.

I’m Jessica Montenegro, an organizational psychologist and executive coach.

My work has taken me into executive conversations, leadership teams, and manufacturing floors. Across those settings, I’ve seen how easily we ask people to behave differently without examining what surrounds them.

I’ve also seen how much leaders carry into their work: expectations about authority, habits that once helped them succeed, and ways of protecting themselves that have become difficult to recognize.

I’m interested in what makes those patterns persist, including the part we each play in them.

re:Designed for humans brings that inquiry into how organizations work and how people lead.

We look closely. We question what has become familiar. Then we put that understanding into practice.
